Burden tells the story of Bennett Lewis, a highly successful and highly educated family man who in spite of his success still has to deal with the perils of being a Black man in America.

Investment Rationale: The film explores the intricacy of race issues Black men face in America on a daily basis; and the related mental illness such issues can cause. We were also excited about the production team’s commitment to work with an expert on diversity & inclusion to develop a corporate diversity program with the film as the centerpiece.
