Investment Rationale: For the first time in 46 years, we have the honor of recreating Ntozake Shange's first and most acclaimed work as a Broadway show, which highlights the obstacles women of color face in everyday life. Furthermore, this is the first Broadway production in 65 years both directed and choreographed by a black woman. This was a unique opportunity for us to showcase black excellence while bringing to the forefront the trials and tribulations black women face because of their race and gender.
